WHAT WE DO
We are a full-service creative digital agency. Our people, technology and insights help global media and entertainment, sports and lifestyle brands create, manage, localise, distribute and place their content, and evaluate its media reach.
THE ROLE
This role is an integral part of the Localisation Tech team. You will be responsible for the localisation of TV Spots, Trailers, and Social Media content including graphics insertion, subtitling, dubbed audio layback and encoding of files for international broadcast and online distribution. Your role and responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the business, but will include:
* Follow your training plan according to the instructions given by your trainer and/or shift team leader.
* Have regular check ins with your trainer and line manager to make sure that you are on target with your weekly training goals.
* Do the localisation of content – graphics insertion, subtitling and dubbed audio layback.
* Finalise localised AV content for international distribution.
* Encode and transcode files to various broadcast and online formats.
* Execute standards and frame rate conversions.
* Participate in the editing of TV Spot cutdowns, social media and promo content.
* Upload and download content to and from various Digital Asset Management systems.
* Make sure you are adhering to the specific studio naming conventions and the DMS folder structure.
* Ensure that your projects and any jobs that you work on are organised.
* Ensure that any handovers are clear and thorough so that the team can pick them up.
* Take the lead on big batches and more complex jobs.
* Support your shift team leader in the daily running of shifts, ensuring that all shifts are running smoothly.
* Support the operations team on a daily basis to ensure that all areas are running efficiently.
* Communicate efficiently with your team and CS on any issues that you have encountered and if you will be able to successfully meet the job deadline.
* Flag any hardware/software issues to your line manager, shift team leader and IT, especially if these are preventing you from doing your daily tasks.
Requirements
* Intermediate skill in Adobe Premiere Pro
* Basic skill in Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition
* Basic knowledge of digital video file format and encoding/transcoding software
* Experience of working with online video formats and deliverables
* Experience of working with broadcast video formats and deliverables
* A technical understanding of video and audio signals
* Initiative to offer creative solutions to issues within the post-production workflows
* Ability to produce a wide range of content with a quick turnaround
* Excellent organisational skills
* Knowledge of post-production workflows across departments
