Why we want you
At Myton we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life. Complementary therapy is one way in which we are able to assist patients with symptom control and quality of life issues alongside conventional methods of treatment that may have recommended by medical professionals.
We are looking for qualified Complementary Therapy Practitioners who are able to support our existing Complementary Therapy Team. Initially we are looking for practitioners who are able to offer primarily aromatherapy and reflexology (ideally both). You should have a recognised qualification in at least one of these core therapies, as well as membership of an official regulatory organisation and evidence of CPD. You will also need to have your own professional insurance.
For more details of our Accepted Professional Regulatory Organisations please email volunteering@mytonhospice.org and we can send this to you.
You will be providing a flexible and holistic approach to people who access the services we offer. Everyone is unique, and so are their needs – the team at Myton understands this concept very well. Patients are valued for the unique life they lead, as well as their role in the lives of those they love. Their life deserves dignity. People may forget what you say, but they never forget how you make them feel … This is how YOU can make a difference.
