We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Estimator to join our manufacturing team in Stockton.

Position
Accountability
* Maintain the quotation and bid register using AESSOP, ensuring information is accurate.
* Ensure bid dates are known and adhered to.
* Understand the wider bid requirements and seek support where required.
* Support the development of accurate cost estimates of both labour and materials from concept drawings and sketches, task descriptions and proposal documents.
* Work from received equipment/drawings or possible site visits.
* Liaise closely with other departments to refine internal cost estimates.
* Upload bids to client portals where applicable.
* Work with supply chain to develop estimates and/or draw on historical cost records and modify as necessary.
* Obtain quotations for third-party goods and services.
* Submit official quotations to clients.
* Write detailed customer proposals to meet and exceed their expectations, including fully specification compliant quotations and data sheets.
* Perform basic sizing of vessels and heat exchangers for estimating purposes.
* Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business.
* Sustain a safe and clean working environment.
* Comply with all company procedures and policies.
Requirements
Experience
* QHSE Auditing qualifications, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent along with significant previous experience in senior QHSE roles.
* Proven experience across multiple industries, such as renewables, industrials, manufacturing, nuclear, and defence.
* Excellent understanding of HSE legislation, management systems, and practices.
* Excellent understanding of quality standards such as ISO 17020, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
