Senior Architect / Technologist
Red Rock Consultants are recruiting on behalf of our client, a trailblazing leader in sustainable modular buildings - for an experienced Senior Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in Coventry.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is now looking to strengthen its in-house architectural team with a Senior-level hire.
The Role
As a Senior Architect / Technologist, you'll lead key design projects from concept through to completion, working closely with in-house engineers, project managers, and procurement teams. This role provides a platform to influence design, drive sustainability, and deliver exceptional work aligned with the Department for Education (DfE) standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and deliver multiple complex projects across the full RIBA Plan of Work stages.
2. Lead design development and production of technical documentation using 3D software (preferably Revit).
3. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
4. Contribute to statutory submissions including Planning, Building Regs, and Safety Gateways.
5. Supervise and mentor junior team members.
6. Participate in project reviews and coordination workshops.
7. Maintain design quality, compliance, and document control in line with company protocols.
What We're Looking For
1. ARB-registered Architect or CIAT Chartered Technologist.
2. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification UK experience.
3. Proven track record delivering DfE Education projects.
4. Strong working knowledge of BIM Level 2 workflows.
5. Familiarity with NBS/Uniclass, Revit, and supplementary design software (Photoshop, Lumion, InDesign etc.).
6. Awareness of timber frame construction and passive design principles highly desirable.
7. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
8. Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
