Our 2025 Logistics Degree Apprenticeship Programme has been developed in partnership with the depot managers of today for the logistics leaders of tomorrow. This opportunity offers apprentices at ASDA on-the-job, real-world experience across Warehousing and Warehousing Management, and acquiring knowledge of our wider departments like Human Resources, Finance, and Health & Safety. The degree apprenticeship scheme is designed to support our core operation. You will be based in one of ASDA’s warehouse depots local to the region you currently live in, this is where you will learn the operation from the ground up. We have opportunities in warehouses nationwide and will aim to accommodate you near your preferred location. The Programme For the first 6 months you will work as a warehouse colleague, familiarising yourself with our warehouse operations before stepping up to a department manager. As a department manager you will lead a team of 10 -25 colleagues who you will motivate to deliver the best standards across the department. You'll have an eye for detail, maintaining warehouse floor standards and coaching your team to do the same. By the end of the programme, you will work towards becoming a Shift Manager, leading a team of 5-8 department managers. Depot managers share characteristics and qualities that make a massive difference. They're tenacious, hardworking, and determined. But they're also empathetic and caring. The pedestrian 9-5 doesn't interest them. Instead, they're motivated by problem solving, being highly organised and passionate about keeping their colleagues engaged. If you are ambitious and hardworking, the Logistics Degree Apprenticeship Programme will guide you, prepare you and support you every step of the way.
