We’re looking for highly strategic, performance-driven and hands-on Head of E-Commerce to play a key role within our growing business and lead our digital development and growth online. Working closely with the founder(s), MD and other key departments, you will be responsible for leading and developing our digital strategies across acquisition, retention and website development and trading, overseeing all daily e-commerce operations. You are the customer, and customer-obsessed, always putting them at the heart of everything you do. You truly understand our customer and what makes them tick and use this knowledge to create and execute exciting and dynamic digital strategies to deliver exceptional online experience for our customers and meet sales objectives. As the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for overseeing the online sales and profit of the website and app. You will empower the team and develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve the customer experience, utilizing a range of tools and software available whilst recommending ways to improve and drive the business forward. Drive online sales growth, profit through customer acquisition, and retention through innovative digital strategies. Contribute to the development of the overall marketing budget and its management ensuring recruitment of new customers remains profitable and LTV of existing customers grows in line with the business. Manage and support execution of the daily digital operations with the wider team. Own the ecommerce calendar and manage the end-to-end delivery of activity to meet sales target. Develop and improve the web and app aesthetic to ensure maximum customer engagement. Optimising customer journey and improving conversion rates. Own, track and adapt customer journey to reduce customer bounce/engagement rate. Team: Lead and inspire a high-performing ecommerce team. Collaborate closely with Brand and Content Manager to secure right level of content to be used across the marketing channels, including product photography, e-commerce & look book imagery, video and campaign assets. Collaborate closely with Merchandising to align digital strategy and calendar to ensure timely and successful collection launches and promotions. Lead and manage external digital agencies (CRO, web development). Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, product, and operations teams, updating senior management of ecommerce developments and performance. Working across departments to develop internal best practises. Metrics: Analyse and report on KPIs. Oversee performance marketing channel activity ensuring all channels meet ROAS and CAC targets through continuous testing and optimisations. Engender a culture of continually learning what does/doesn’t work. Build and lead an innovative retention strategy to increase customer base and promote loyalty. Analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. What you need 5 years with management and/or head of experience in e-commerce and performance marketing. Proven experience in a senior ecommerce leadership role, preferably within the fashion industry. International growth experience advantageous. Extensive knowledge of Shopify and GA4. Experience in leading website design, UX and digital development. In-depth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and trends. Ability to analyse data and convert insight into action. Solid understanding of SEO and performance marketing. Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and always striving for excellence in every aspect of your work. Experience working in a small, founder-led team but work well autonomously, and be a team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management and coordination with external agencies. Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and thrive in a fast-paced high growth environment. Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and take initiative. Highly organised, logical, and efficient, and can work to tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into action. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
