A kind and fun-loving female Personal Assistant require to support a 14-year-old girl who has a great sense of humour. She is a full-time wheelchair user so hoisting may be required.
Living in the St Austell area.
The Personal Assistant would accompany the young lady on cinema trips, bowling, eating out and shopping as well as cooking and craft activities at home.
Personal care will be required on occasion. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.
Mainly working 4-5 hours each Saturday between 10am -2pm but there would need to be some flexibility on the days & times.
£13.00 per hour.
Experience or knowledge of working with young people with a physical disability an advantage.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
