Randstad are working with a local authority responsible for delivering high-quality projects across Dorset. We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team and oversee the successful execution of construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and working closely with subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage projects contracted by the local authority, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard. Supervise on-site subcontractors and ensure all work is carried out efficiently and in line with the project scope. Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site, ensuring full compliance with regulations. Regularly report on project progress to senior management. Problem-solve and address issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Ensure that all work is completed within budget and on time. Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality meets local authority expectations.Requirements:
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential). Proven experience in site supervision within the construction industry. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to liaise with subcontractors, stakeholders, and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations in Dorset. Full driving license is required due to the need to travel between project sites.What We Offer:
