Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide a comprehensive level of support to the Ward Manager, nursing team, and medical staff in the maintenance of housekeeping standards.
2. Ensure effective communication between the public and the ward.
3. Deliver optimum service to patients and relatives.
4. Perform all administrative tasks delegated by the nurse in charge.
5. Contribute to the efficient service provision within the unit.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
