Product Technologist

The Role:
As a Product Technologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are of the highest quality while promoting sustainability. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with factories to manage technical documentation, timelines for samples, testing, and pre-shipment inspections.
* Investigating and resolving failed inspections and customer feedback, implementing corrective actions.
* Preparing testing applications, coordinating with third-party testing facilities and conducting in-house tests as needed.
* Logging reports on in-house testing, user trials and risk assessments across diverse product ranges.
* Keeping our databases and platforms updated with essential information.
* Representing Pure's technical department by reviewing samples, attending meetings and managing technical requirements.
* Organising and performing warehouse stock checks.
* Opportunities for international travel to foster supplier relationships and ensure compliance.
* Leading onboarding processes for new suppliers and maintaining relationships with assigned supplier accounts.
* Supporting sustainability initiatives that align with stakeholder goals and requirements.

Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Experience in a technical role with an understanding of industry standards and regulations.
* Knowledge of testing and labelling standards within similar industries.
* Confidence in working independently, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills to share technical information clearly and concisely.
* Curiosity, adaptability and a drive to learn and grow.
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
* A proactive attitude, ready to assist and take initiative.
Desirable Experience (a bonus, but not required):
* Background in homewares or related industries.
* Familiarity with customer-specific platforms.
* Knowledge of factory audit compliance and critical path management.
* Passion for sustainability and homewares.
* Advanced Excel skills.
