With nearly 20 years of experience within HVAC, M&E, and fire/smoke sectors, this company knows what it takes to provide an excellent service for their clients. They subcontract for some major names in the industry as well as having their own clients in the commercial and healthcare sectors. Expansion is always on their mind; be part of this wave of expansion and contribute to the company's growth plan, as shown by recent partnerships with other contractors.
Due to expansion, they are recruiting for an AOV / Smoke Control Technical Manager. You will be:
1. Working with long-standing FM commercial clients in and around the London and M25 area, with some client visits further out into the home counties.
2. Based from their office in Surrey, but you will be out on the road and working from home most of the time.
3. Managing the smoke/fire team of two engineers with a mind to grow the client base and the team as a whole.
4. Going to sites to conduct surveys and produce quotes for clients for remedial works and maintenance contracts.
5. Dealing with the RAMS for site and ordering materials for site.
Skills needed to be an AOV / Smoke Control Technical Manager:
1. Living anywhere in or around the London/M25 area would be ideal, but they would also consider anyone in the surrounding home counties.
2. You need some experience working within the smoke control or ventilation sector; this can be from being a senior engineer who wants to progress into management or directly from being a manager in this sector.
3. They are looking for someone who is commercially aware and wants to help grow the fire and smoke team.
Salary and Benefits of an AOV / Smoke Control Technical Manager:
1. £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience.
2. 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays.
3. Quarterly bonuses.
4. £5,000 car allowance.
