Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday - Thursday - 7.30 - 16.15 & Friday 7.30 - 15.00

What you'll be doing;
* Collecting waste from various areas of the site and processing the waste arisings according to type. This involves both the collection of waste in a variety of containers including FEL's, skips, 1100 Lt bins, on pallet trucks and in drums from around the site.
* Operating hazardous dry waste in drum compactor, Linde/Hyster owned fork lift truck, tail lift vehicle, 34T FEL vehicle, 7.5T Curtain sider, 17T skip vehicle.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of waste vehicles.
* Completing daily check sheets and relevant defect sheets, as applicable.
* Segregating and sorting waste streams in the waste yard and storage facility prior to disposal
* Collecting, storing and processing, as applicable, non routine waste under the instruction of the Veolia Supervisor and or Contract Manager.
* Assisting with waste yard duties, at the discretion of the Supervisor and or Contract Manager, within the training capability and ability of the individual.
What we're looking for;
* Class 2 Licence
* An up-to-date CPC / Drivers card (Qualified for appropriate vehicle)
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable - training will be provided
* Forklift truck licence
* In Drum Compactor Training
* A basic knowledge of Health and Safety Law inc. COSHH
