About the role
The purpose of this role is to support the wellbeing of Statistical Science students at continuing Undergraduate, Masters and Postgraduate Research level, and enhance their experience by providing key pastoral and education support activities. This role will provide effective, professional guidance and signposting to students on a range of issues relating to welfare, health, and support for academic progression. The role holder will work with colleagues across the Department, Faculty, Student Support and Wellbeing teams and beyond to help foster a culture of wellbeing, encouragement and inclusion within the Department.
The post is available from 1 February .

About you
The role holder must have substantial knowledge of the Higher Education sector, a good understanding of student support and welfare issues, and a commitment to supporting students’ wellbeing and success. In addition, excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential attributes for this role.
