Effectively process customer orders within 24 hours of receipt Manage open order book, paying particular attention to overdue lines Support of managing the UK Sales purchasing process including ensure that items are invoiced promptly (within 24 hrs of despatch) Maximising sales value to our customers including add on’s and link sales Answering customers queries promptly via phone or email Working towards a 0% error rate for our customers Relevant Experience Proven ability to achieve KPI’s & targets Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service Qualifications, Skills & Competencies Excellent commercial awareness & customer focus Attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Ability to multitask and manage own time effectively Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure results Computer literate Results focused Ability to follow procedure Role Purpose To provide commercial and sales support to our UK and ROI customers, Sales Engineers and Project Management teams by processing orders for products, packages and contracts from initial enquiry through to purchasing and invoicing whilst maximising sales opportunities (upselling and cross selling products to existing customers). Key Responsibilities Effectively processing customer orders from enquiry through to invoicing, including managing larger project-based orders Managing ROI order that require export Supporting our customers with offering required add on to parts ordered or offering alternatives to support meeting their delivery requirements. Providing accurate, detailed price and availability quotations to our customer via the phone or email enquiry. Where appropriate raising purchase orders on suppliers and expediting these to meet our customers delivery requirements, manging this through to authorisation of invoice. Supporting our customers with managing and maintaining remote consignment stock.
