Business Resilience Security Lead (Nottingham, GB)
Here's what you'll be doing
We're seeking a strategic leader to drive Security Governance and Business Resilience at E.ON UK. As the Subject Matter Expert for Physical Security, you'll manage governance, programmes, campaigns, ensuring compliance and a secure environment for business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance on security governance, risk management, and legislative compliance to senior leadership and the UK Board.
* Develop and implement security strategies and policies aligned with Group and UK objectives.
* Deliver Security Threat Assessments and oversee Operational Requirements to mitigate risks.
* Lead security assurance programmes, ensuring compliance with standards like BC 22301 and ISO 27001.
* Act as the key point of contact for internal and external security matters, including PRISMA Security modules.
* Support business continuity through oversight of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
What we need from you
* Degree or equivalent in Security Governance or related qualifications.
* In-depth knowledge of technical/protective security measures, business resilience, and risk management.
* Proven ability to analyse complex problems, present clear insights, and influence decisions.
* Experience managing large, complex projects, including third-party providers.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships at a senior level.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of E.ON UK's organisational setup and MI systems.
* Strategic understanding of ISO standards for Security, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management.
* Coaching, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
