About the Company:
W&A is partnering with an established manufacturer based in Fife as they seek to hire a Financial Controller. The Finance Controller will support the delivery & efficient operations of the International Finance function. This is a critical role holding key responsibilities for accurate & timely financial reporting for the business. This role will operate on a hybrid basis.
About the Role:
Required Experience & Skills:
* Professional accountancy qualification
* Experience in a similar financial control role
* Excellent communication & organisational skills, with attention to detail
* Focused on delivering operational excellence within structured timeframes
* Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate & cohesive reports for management
* Previous experience of statutory accounts & corporation tax beneficial
* Previous experience in a customer focussed environment beneficial
* Previous experience of MS Dynamics systems beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for coordinating the periodic close for international business units
* Consolidated monthly reporting of results for international, including financial KPIs & flash reporting
* Responsible for P&L management
* Leading the balance sheet review, ensuring reconciliations are completed in time
* Manage operational finance team, ensuring the delivery of key processes
* Deputise for the Finance Director, administrator responsibilities for key systems
* Support line manager on matters relating to legal entities including reporting, audit & statutory accounting
* Supporting the control environment via the development of processes & procedures, including the ERP & system enhancements
* Mentoring & development of the team
