About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Insights and HRIS Lead to join our People and Culture team at the Royal Society of Chemistry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the management, development, and integration of our new HRIS system, Workday.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and enhance the Workday HRIS system, advising on setup and implementation, leading functional configuration changes, and managing the development roadmap and budget.
* Develop and maintain workforce planning capabilities, providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
* Shape and optimise the organisation's people strategy with data insights, collaborating with stakeholders.
* Identify and report on workforce risks, supporting risk mitigation strategies with data insights.
* Develop workforce analytics models and metrics, recommend data collection and analytics tools, and ensure data quality and security.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, presenting data visualisations and recommendations to leadership, and promoting data literacy within the team and organisation.
Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of Workday technology, with expertise in applying Workday technology ideally within a global organisation.
* Problem-solving abilities, with the ability to deal with complex and varied problems and come up with appropriate solutions.
* Vendor management skills, able to lead conversations with external vendors around technology requirements.
* A proactive approach, able to identify opportunities to derive value and identify potential technology issues before they arise and put in place measures to exploit or address them.
* Influencing skills, with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives and gain stakeholder buy-in.
* Planning and project management skills, with strong planning and project management skills essential for managing time well, recognising priorities, and accomplishing all objectives.
* Good communication skills, able to communicate across cultures at all levels.
