Proposed Interview Date: 31st January 2025 The role As a Women’s Empowerment Worker, you will provide trauma informed support services to women involved in, or at risk of, entering the criminal justice system. You will facilitate support that addresses unmet needs which contribute to offending behaviour and enable women to rebuild their lives and achieve their lifestyle ambitions. The right fit Experience delivering trauma informed support, and experience of working with individuals with multiple and complex needs. An understanding of the barriers faced by women involved with, or at risk of, entering the criminal justice system is essential. Ability to effectively assessing needs and managing risk Excellent communication skills including report writing, use of IT and professional representation of the organisation. Ability to consult, identify, and facilitate key activities to promote positive engagement. The ability to manage partner relationships, with the ability to assess needs and deliver effective support appropriate as needed. Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.
