Administrative Officer
Salary: £23,151.50 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Peterborough
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Part Time – 17 hours per week

A Bit About The Role
As Administrative Officer, you’ll provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our home. Your responsibilities will include managing records, coordinating schedules, and liaising with staff, families, and external agencies. We’re looking for someone who has strong organization and communication skills who will help create a welcoming environment for our young people.
About The Service
As an Administrative Officer in our Peterborough service, you will support with the administration tasks and the transitioning of young person into their own forever home!
They've been living in their current setting in Hampshire for some time and therefore our mission is to bring them home, where they'll be close to family and receive the stability, consistency, and appropriate care they need.
Our approach is therapeutic, driven by love and a commitment to helping the young person thrive. We aim to integrate them into the community as much as possible by supporting and encouraging independence as they transition into adulthood. Working closely with partner agencies including health, education, and social care partners, as well as the young person's family, we'll provide high-quality support using a trauma-informed approach. These relationships will enable our young person to do all of the things they enjoy.
How You'll Help To Create Brighter Futures
* Providing a range of administrative services utilizing organizational policies, procedures, and digital systems
* HR Duties, such as: keeping staff records up to date, from contractual changes, payroll to training records.
* Producing written and financial reports for management, including formatting of information and data, which is consistent with organizational and regulatory standards, and producing statistical data.
* Assisting with management of project budgets, work request orders, stationary orders, petty cash handling and reconciliation, and the completion of monitoring and evaluation forms.

Whilst it would be great if you have a Business Administration S/NVQ, we're open to experience rather than qualifications.
* Experience of using PCs on a business network running MS Windows and Office, along with Email and Internet and specific business applications.
* The ability to work within a team environment, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with other members of staff and where necessary to direct and guide.
* Effective communication written and oral to a range of different personnel.
* To take responsibility for a project or task and deliver within agreed timescales.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes and demonstrate good practice to others.
* Experience of providing a confidential, professional service and to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
