Job Title: Traceability Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
The Traceability Systems Specialist is responsible for the implementation, training, and support of traceability systems within manufacturing environments. This role involves working closely with clients to deploy factory management and traceability solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes, and providing training and documentation to end users. The specialist will play a critical role in improving product tracking, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and configure traceability systems at customer sites, ensuring smooth deployment and integration with existing ERP systems.
* Provide on-site and remote training sessions to end users, covering system functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting.
* Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and SOPs for traceability solutions.
* Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams (IT, operations, quality assurance) and external stakeholders to tailor solutions to business needs.
* Monitor system performance and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as required.
* Stay up to date with industry regulations and traceability best practices to ensure compliance.
* Gather feedback from users and work with developers or vendors to enhance system functionality.
* Document system configurations, implementation processes, and issue resolutions for future reference.
* Assist with data analysis and reporting to support traceability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 2+ years of experience in manufacturing traceability, factory systems implementation, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of traceability principles, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and ERP integrations.
* Experience with barcode/RFID technology, serial number tracking is a plus.
* Proficiency in SQL, databases, and data reporting tools is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in industries such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, or aerospace.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements i.e. BRC.
* Familiarity with cloud-based traceability solutions and IoT technologies.
