Overview The department and team To be able to cover holidays and other absence for a number of the roles within the Sweets department ensuring the efficiency of the department and quality of products can be maintained. The Sweets department are keen to promote excellent team work by employing people who have a positive (can do) attitude, who are prepared to learn a number of skills so that they are able to work in various positions within the department. By achieving this, the department is in the best position to produce quality products, in an efficient manor; we aim to not only achieve our targets but improve on them as well. As the role is in-place to allow cover for holidays and other absence there may be times when there is no requirement for cover on one of the key roles shown above, therefore there may be times when it is necessary to place the multi-skilled operator on one of the assembly lines. This multi-skilled operator position is planned to work on the 06:00-14:00 shift and will take responsibility for the cooking pots when they are not required to cover elsewhere. £12.92 per hour Bonus Benefits Who we are Apetito is the UK's leading food supplier to the health and social care sectors serving more than 1,300 care homes, health care and education settings. Responsibilities To be able to cover the key roles listed below: Mixing and/or cooking pots Cooking & Cutting Role Producding the materials required at the quality and throughput for the Production lines Follow correct personal hygiene procedures (e.g. change procedure, hand washing procedures) Operate to a clean (and tidy) as you go policy Undertake 'Basic Food Hygiene' training: a pass level must be obtained Work in a safe manner at all times Follow safe working practices Assist if required with risk assessments Report any accidents or dangerous occurrences Finished (assembled) products must be right first time; ensure you carry out tasks to the required standard - (e.g. always follow the recipe or follow the fill card) Always ensure that paperwork (e.g. Traceability documents, process orders and H&S checks) are completed as required.
