We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Humanities Teacher with the ability to lead on Geography. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in Religious Studies and History while actively contributing to our extracurricular programs, including sports. They will inspire a love of learning and foster intellectual curiosity among our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Geography curriculum, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning experience for pupils.
* Deliver high-quality teaching in Humanities, including Religious Studies and History, across the Prep School.
* Contribute to the school’s vibrant co-curricular programme, particularly in Sport.
* Inspire and challenge pupils, fostering their academic and personal growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil engagement.
* Contribute to the school community through pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* A relevant degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Experience in teaching Humanities at Prep or secondary level.
* A passion for Geography and the ability to lead and develop the subject.
* A commitment to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and school life.
* Experience in coaching or involvement in school sports would be an advantage.
