Hourly Rate: £19.54 - £21.20
Salary: £35,672.14 - £38,701.64 pro rata per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary Maternity Cover until 28th November 2025 or until the return of the post holder.
Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic forward thinking team by covering MAT leave for a period up to 1 year. The Hawick team are open to flexible working and are committed to the services it provides to the citizens it serves.
We work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, we would encourage applications from candidates who are eager to work within a busy Adult Social Work Team where there is a range of opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. You will work as part of a large team and a wider multi-agency with regular group and individual supervision as well as the opportunity for development and training.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our duty system and case management will be a requirement. The successful candidate must have compassion and empathy to support individuals who need our services and are able to work in partnership with colleagues to deliver a high standard of social work practice.
Essential
HNC in Social Care & Health or equivalent studies, and full SVQ3 in Care or equivalent.
Experienced applicants will be considered, where there is evidence, and agreement to complete relevant qualification within 2 years from appointment.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
