About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our Corporate Information Services team until 31 August 2025. In this role, you will provide advanced technical expertise and project guidance within a complex ICT environment. You will deliver quality solutions that enhance business efficiency and productivity, supporting the City's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to the Applications and Data Services team.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring high-quality customer service.
* Design, develop, and maintain API integration solutions and corporate databases.
* Lead the review and maintenance of the City's technology platforms.
* Perform systems and business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
* Coordinate with project managers and teams to implement best-practice ICT processes.
* Work on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and event-driven architectures.
* Design and implement Data Warehouse/Lakehouse solutions using modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric).
About You

* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or demonstrated relevant experience.
* Certificate IV in Systems Analysis and Design or equivalent (desirable).
* Strong understanding of data structures, data quality, and relational databases (SQL).
* Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of business systems analysis methodologies.
* Experience in application software and database system installations.
* Ability to analyse complex technical issues and communicate solutions effectively.
* Experience with enterprise-level data analysis and integration work.
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and event-driven architectures.
* Experience in data warehousing and data modelling.
This temporary full-time position is a Level 8/9 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $106,999 to $130,096 per annum gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
