An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Associate Director to join a growing team in Manchester. This is a key leadership role, focusing on project management and delivering civil infrastructure projects for commercial and residential developments. Additionally, you will play an important role in driving business development and expanding the company's presence in the region. This multidisciplinary business unit includes civil and highway engineers, structural engineers, architects, project managers, and surveyors. Key market sectors include: Industrial development and logistics Airports and infrastructure development Regeneration projects Government agency and local authority projects As an Associate Director, you will: Lead mid to large-sized projects and manage a team of 5-10 engineers and technicians, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Provide specialised technical input and present complex technical solutions to clients. Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others. Develop estimates for engineering budgets and schedules for large projects. Offer technical expertise across drainage design, highways, and infrastructure development. What We’re Looking For Significant experience in UK development-related infrastructure engineering, ideally within a consultancy or private-sector environment. A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status (MICE). Expertise in drainage design, including piped systems, SuDS, and storage solutions, with proficiency in software such as InfoDrainage. Strong experience preparing contract drawings, specifications, and negotiating agreements including Section 38, 278, 104, and 106. Why Join?
