This role would require the successful candidate to work from a base in North East Lincolnshire at least 2 days a week.

Job Description
Job responsibilities
1. Support in the creation and running of reports using Microsoft SQL.
2. Assist with the preparation and quality assurance of regular internal and external data submissions.
3. Contribute to maintaining and improving Navigo's information systems.
4. Work alongside the Digital, Systems and Insights (DSI) Team to develop and deliver tailored reports and information packs for services within the organisation.
5. Support the preparation of accurate data for regular meetings.
6. Ensure timely collection and entry of key data into Navigo's information systems.
7. Monitor Navigo's performance on national mental health dashboards.
8. Analyse and benchmark local and national data.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NHS data definitions, standards, guidance, and healthcare information.
10. Work with large datasets and complex spreadsheets.
11. Investigate and resolve issues with the Mental Health clinical system and Incident and Accident Reporting system.
12. Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of Navigo's information systems.
13. Review and analyse national dataset submissions.
14. Help maintain a high Data Quality Maturity Index.
15. Extract and analyse information from patient clinical records.

Essential
* Awareness of confidentiality issues including data protection act, GDPR and all other relevant security & confidentiality legislation & guidance.
* Mental health awareness.
Desirable
* Awareness of National NHS policy objectives.
* Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
* Understanding of Statistical Process Control Charts.
Knowledge
Essential
* Good verbal, written & communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information issues to a wide range of groups.
* Ability to manage routine information submissions and reporting schedules, prioritising workload, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure for long periods of time.
* Basic analytical skills for interpreting and summarising data in reports using good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn new skills and to support the development of the role through appraisal processes.
Desirable
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the wider implications of decisions within own area.
* Knowledge of NHS data quality standards.
* A basic understanding of NHS data standards and data flows.
Qualifications
Essential
* Education to Level 3 (e.g., A-levels) or equivalent experience in data support.
* GCSE in English and Maths, Grades A-C, 9-4 or equivalent.
Desirable
* SQL/Other Programming Language.
* Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience as an analyst.
* Apha Analyst accredited.
Experience
Essential
* Experience of using Microsoft Office particularly Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel. Proven skills/training up to immediate level in MS Excel and basic data analysis skills.
* Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
* Experience working with information systems, including data entry, data validation and preparing data for analysis.
* Shown willingness to undertake new responsibilities and of a flexible approach to duties and working arrangements.
Desirable
* Previous work experience related to data analytics.
* Experience of contractual key performance indicators and data submissions.
* Experience in creating SQL queries.
