About the Role
RWD, a leading superyacht design studio, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Yacht Design and Project Management team.
As an Assistant Yacht Designer and Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project teams to ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.
You will work closely with the project team, including exterior and interior designers, FF&E departments, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

The Yacht Design team at RWD is the organisational glue that holds project teams together. They have a broad experience and interest in all aspects of yacht design, project management, and construction.
As a team, we are naturally organised and meticulous in our attention to detail, ensuring the execution of a truly integrated yacht design.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the luxury/yacht industry, with relevant project management experience.
Key skills and qualifications include:
* Graduate or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Yacht or Transport Design
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of yacht design software, including AutoCAD and Rhino
* Excellent spoken English and ability to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Effectively communicating and translating interior or exterior design information to shipyard and/or subcontractor manufacturers
* Drafting general arrangement plans for review
* Organising and supplying information to visualisers
* Collaborating with project coordinators to ensure project planning and work schedules are kept up to date
* Liaising with external project teams, including shipyards, naval architects, and subcontractors
* Representing the team at project meetings, including overseas
* Reporting on progress and updating project work both internally and at the shipyard
