At Veblen International, we are seeking a seasoned Sales Account Manager to lead our cosmetics brand's growth in the UK market. This is a dynamic role that requires building strong relationships with key retailers, driving sales, and contributing to our brand's overall success.
About the Role
* Retailer Relationship Management: Develop a deep understanding of retailer priorities, category strategies, and brand alignment to meet sales targets.
* Market Analysis & Adaptation: Continuously monitor changes in retailer strategies, market dynamics, and competitor activity, adjusting our brand plans to stay competitive.
* Sales Growth & Promotional Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and execute commercial plans that align with our brand goals, ensuring impactful promotional launches and sustained sales growth.
* Insights & Strategic Planning: Provide valuable insights on trends, risks, and opportunities, helping shape strategic decisions and brand positioning.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, New Product Development (NPD), and Trade Marketing to ensure smooth operations and timely launches.
* Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor weekly sales data, address potential challenges, and maintain an accurate business plan to meet personal and team objectives.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager within a fast-paced beauty environment.
* Established track record in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in profit management.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a 'can-do' attitude.
* Passionate about the beauty industry and staying up-to-date on the latest trends.
* Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Flexibility in skills, with the ability to handle both sales and trade marketing functions.
* Demonstrated experience in managing Joint Business Plans (JPBs), promotional planning, and successful NPD launches.
