Construction Project Manager \n\nLocation - Exeter\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Project Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Exeter. This is to lead on a £9MIL new build student accommodation.\n\nConstruction Project Manager - Benefits \n\nCompetitive Salary + Car allowance\n\nAnnual Leave 26 days plus bank holidays\n\nPension scheme\n\nPrivate Healthcare\n\nLife Assurance\n\nConstruction Project Manager Role \n\nSpecific responsibilities include management of; health and safety, design, customer relations, quality, environmental, programme and the cost/value during both pre-production (ECI phase) and production. \nMonitor the progress of offsite and onsite operations against deadlines and budget limitations.
\nCreate a positive team culture and environment on your projects to support improved wellbeing and performance. \nIn addition to the normal attributes of a successful leader this role will require determination and doggedness as you will be changing for the better the way in which many people currently work embedding production line thinking and our "offsite first" philosophy. \nContract administration experience desirable\nProgramme focused with an ability to plan and organise resources to deliver on time and in full.
\nRecognises the many benefits of maintaining exemplary site organisation and tidiness. \nCommercially astute - lead other team members to produce accurate time and cost forecasts and reports. \nExperience of both pre-production and production project management in major project's environment desirable.
Construction Project Manager - Requirements \n\nDegree Qualified or equivalent\nNVQ Level 6 Construction Management\nExcellent team leader with great people management skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities. \nSMSTS safety qualification and relevant CSCS card is desirable \nExperience in a similar role within a manufacturing or construction organisation is desirable.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of people. \nBIM/digital experience desirable.
