Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer located in Alfreton working for a global leader within the Pharmaceutical Industry. The role is 70/30 Mechanical over Electrical. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Performing equipment maintenance.
2. Conducting maintenance and repair tasks.
3. Implementing preventive maintenance measures.
4. Managing electrical maintenance tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
1. Apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified.
2. Experience working within a manufacturing setting.
3. Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
4. PLC Experience, would be advantageous but not essential.
5. Mechanical or Electrical bias will be considered.
Package/ Benefits
We offer:
1. Salary of £47,800 (inclusive of basic salary, call out & shift pay).
2. Monday - Friday 4 shift rotation pattern: 6am - 2pm, 8am - 4pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.
3. On call every fourth week.
4. Overtime at an enhanced rate.
5. Annual company bonus.
6. 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, with additional days after continued service.
7. Pension: Employer contributions 5%.
Qualifications Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Skills in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair.
2. Experience in implementing preventive maintenance practices.
3. Proficiency in electrical maintenance tasks.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
5. Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering areas.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Relevant certifications or qualifications in Maintenance Engineering or related fields.
