What you will do
You will support delivery and structuring of complex new business proposals and proactively manage a portfolio of Invoice Finance customers and Asset Based Lending (ABL) customers, maximising portfolio income and client service as well as minimising attrition and impairment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review and help structure new client proposals, with focus on delivering larger / more complex deals.
2. Apply strong credit skills and industry knowledge, identify suitable risk mitigants within ABL structures.
3. Build strong reputation and trust within local market for service delivery and excellence.
4. Support new business team to develop strong internal/external stakeholder relationships.
5. Proactively monitor and manage risks within own portfolio, undertaking regular collateral assessment.
6. Maintain regular contact plan for client communication, including regular on-site visits.
7. Keep client attrition to a minimum unless STB decide to manage client away.
8. Maximise fee income through negotiation of additional income opportunities and pricing.
9. Comply with all relevant governance and policies.
10. Support Assistant Relationship Managers in their development.
11. Take ownership of all risk aspects associated with portfolio (e.g. MER returns, DV, constant monitoring, covenant monitoring etc).
