Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery and outcomes for children.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social work programs and recommend improvements as needed.
Facilitate regular team meetings and training sessions to promote professional development and team cohesion.
Collaborate with external agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance services provided to families and children.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal service delivery within financial constraints.
Participate in policy development and advocacy efforts at local and state levels to promote children's rights and services.
Requirements
A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
Minimum of five years of experience in children's social work, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of child welfare laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and community partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex case issues.
Licensure as a social worker in the applicable state is preferred.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Annum: £27.56
Location: Hereford, Herefordshire
