Job Description:
Position: IT Support Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Service Locations:
1. Location 1: UE S/M Office, 83 Clemenceau Avenue, 07-05/08, Shell House, UE Square, Singapore 239920 (Primary location)
2. Location 2: Tata Communications Exchange, 35 Tai Seng Street, Singapore 239920
3. Location 3: DHL Supply Chain, 81 Alps Avenue, Singapore 498803
Hours of Operation: 8:30AM to 5:30PM Singapore local time, Monday to Friday.
Service Description:
Onsite Wintel support at Location 1 including:
1. New notebook & Desktop OS & applications installations
2. Notebook & Desktop software and hardware repairs
3. Installation & repair of PC peripherals (e.g., Printers, Mice)
4. Installation & configuration of TI approved software
5. Ensuring key services are running (e.g., TLM Backup, Disk Encryption, Patch management, Antivirus)
6. Coordinate with vendors on parts replacement/fault repair
Executive IT support & Video conference support:
1. Office Area MAC (modify/add/change) - handle all related tasks
2. Network MAC - Assist in office moves, patching network ports
3. IP Phone MAC (move/add/change)
4. Network faulting PC/Client - troubleshooting, level 1
Data Centre Support:
1. Network patching and cabling
2. Moving & installing equipment as directed
3. Handle HW installation, decommission, break-fix as requested
4. Patching of cables, labeling
5. Coordinating & escorting cleaning personnel as needed
6. Escorting Vendor reps as needed
7. DC environmental monitoring
8. Monthly audit walk-thru & findings documentation
9. Asset Management for all IT infrastructure
IDF Room Maintenance:
1. Maintenance/work within IDF rooms
2. Coordinating & management of room cleaning
3. Break/Fix level 1 of IDF room switch equipment
Spares Management:
1. Configuring and testing offline spares
2. Checking and maintaining offline spares database
Wireless Network Support:
1. Airwave wireless health monitoring
2. Wireless AP MAC
Windows Server Management:
1. Health metrics monitoring
2. Standard administration/environment patch management
3. Remote 'office-in-a-box' management
4. Asset/Inventory tracking
Documentation:
1. DC/IDF documentation maintenance & updates
2. AMS for all PC and network hardware
Adhoc - On Call Support:
1. Network physical equipment installation and setup
2. Patch coordination
3. H/W failure faulting and management
4. Assist onsite with larger projects (upgrades/moves)
