As the Professional Standards Consultant you will work collaboratively with a range of senior leaders across the partnership, providing key expertise in the effective design and delivery of the Network’s Assurance Model (Control Framework) which balances commercial requirements (risk appetite) and regulatory requirements including regular root cause analysis and outcome focused reporting to be shared with committees. In light of the AR Regime, this role is pivotal to support progression and evolution of AR Oversight controls reported in the annual AR Self-Assessment. This is a fixed term contract until the end of 2025; hybrid position based in our Swindon office. Your responsibilities will include: A key driver and contributor in the effective design and delivery of: Quality and Partnership processes which conform to expected industry regulation and Openwork’s business standards. The design and delivery of the Network’s Assurance Model (Control Framework) The design and delivery of the Quality Assurance and Repor ting Framework across Operations. Engage with key stakeholders across the business to support progression the evolution of AR Oversight controls and AR Self-Assessment activity. Delivery of effective root cause analysis by a review of data to continue to evolve the assurance model. Collaboration with senior stakeholders and relevant MI to identify emerging risks and identify strengthening of control via the assurance model. Continuous improvement of the risk based KPIs to inform and drive supervisory interventions. Championing the use of data to inform decisions. You'll be actively engaged with industry peers to inform thinking towards our risk and assurance framework. What will you need to succeed? Experience of AR oversight controls and regulatory expectations. Experience with root cause analysis and recommendations. Level 4 Diploma (preferable). A working knowledge of FCA Principles of Business, supervision and T&C Manuals. A good understanding of the FCA Senior Managers & Certification Regime for solo-regulated firms.
