MB Connected is partnering with one of the UK's leading retailers to recruit an Assistant Buyer for their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving multimillion-pound organisation with multiple entities, expanding internationally. The position is based in Birmingham City Centre, offering a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum, along with an attractive company bonus and employee discounts.Key responsibilities: Support the Buyer with purchasing of stock from wholesalers. Identify and arrange stock transfers between sites, including customs documentation. Daily analysis of stock levels across all data streams, ensuring availability of stock to facilitate orders. Analysis of delivery routes to aid cost efficient activities. Problem solving - assist the customer service and dispatch team with stock queries. Process improvements- actively suggest and support workflow and platform enhancements to drive efficiency. Key requirements: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience managing large data sets, and strong MS Excel skills. Proactive and solution orientated with strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate confidently and build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
