Job Opportunity: Senior Registered Manager – 7-Bed Service for Young People with Complex Needs Location: Near Halifax, West Yorkshire Salary: £65,000 - £73,000 per annum (depending on experience) Service Type: 7-bed residential service for young people with complex needs We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Registered Manager to lead and manage a 7-bed service that supports young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals while developing a thriving and dynamic service. About the Role: As Senior Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, and continuously striving to improve the service. You will be instrumental in creating a positive and safe environment that supports the individual needs of each young person in our care. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage and develop a team of support staff, ensuring they provide person-centered care. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that it meets the needs of the young people and complies with all regulatory requirements (Ofsted). Develop and implement care plans, assessments, and risk management strategies to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals in our care. Monitor the progress of service users, providing regular reports to stakeholders and ensuring that care delivery is appropriate and effective. Manage the service’s budget and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective delivery of care. Liaise with families, external professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the service is meeting the needs of the young people. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that values staff, promotes professional development, and ensures high standards of practice. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Experience in managing services for young people with complex needs, particularly those with learning disabilities. A proven track record as a Registered Manager within residential care. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures. Experience of managing staff and leading teams. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to complete). Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
