Job Title: Telecoms Maintenance Engineer (CCTV, PA & display Screens)
Location: Berkshire & Oxfordshire area m4 Corridor
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Telecoms Maintenance Technician to join a team of engineers running a long-term railway station maintenance contract covering a wide area in the South West. You will be responsible for the day-to-day planned preventative and reactive maintenance of communication systems across multiple railway stations in the Bristol and surrounding areas. This includes but not limited to CCTV, PA systems, customer information screens, public help points, and other IP networked communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various comms systems.
Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties.
Fault finding
Maintain and install analogue and IP networked communications systems, including CCTV, fibre, and copper networks.
Requirements:
based ideally in the Berkshire/South Oxfordshire area
Background in Telecoms, Fire & Security, SISS, CCTV, VSS display screens (analogue and digital) Data networks, Copper, CATV/CAT6.
Experience in maintenance or installation of communications systems and infrastructure
Full UK driving licence.
Previous railway experience is a plus but not essential.
Training will be provided for working in the Railway. You will be required to carry out a Railway Medical and Drug and Alcohol test if successful as well as obtaining a DBS check as you will be working in areas that are open to the public.
Benefits:
Salary CIRCA £35,000 to £40,000 per annum plus benefits
