Reporting to the CFO, this role has overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings with the most profitable outcomes. Managing and leading the team through month end, year end and annual budgeting. Day to day you will be responsible for the following; Financial Lead for Business Area - Business Plans, Budgets, Forecasts, Monthly Accounts Monthly, quarterly, annual submissions as part of the standard financial cycle Efficiency in the production of the accounts, automated and streamlined with associated KPIs / metrics and to focus on continuous improvement of reporting Ensure that all operational month end accounts are accurate and have a full understanding of any deviations from flash / budget and any future impacts of current deviations Continually challenge the financial results with the unit manager and operations management Collate, challenge and report the effects of any disruption to the business immediately to aid fast decision making to reduce EBIT effect Assist in cost control and cost reduction projects Assist in Capex budgeting, forecasting and preparation Robust, fit for purpose accurately reported Balance Sheet Robust financial Stock Control & Reporting Commercial focus To be considered, you must have the following; You will be a qualified accountant with a strong background as a Finance Business Partner/Finance Manager You must be either ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified Ability and proven track record of people management Proven track record of delivering change management Audit exposure Proactive, energetic You will ideally have SAP experience however this is not essential Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
