* Industry leading media publisher and events business seeks an ambitious Digital Editorial Lead to join their growing editorial team.
Hybrid Working (2 days in the office)
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about digital content creation, possesses strong organisational skills, and is highly knowledgeable in SEO techniques and analytics.
You will have a proven track record in managing a digital content plan and delivering market-leading coverage. You are able to work independently, lead from the front, and build trusted industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and develop engaging content for digital platforms including websites, social media, and email newsletters.
2. Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and content is optimised for search engines.
3. Develop and implement digital strategies to increase engagement, website traffic, and social media followers/readership.
4. Produce features for their quarterly print magazine.
5. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep their digital channels cutting-edge.
6. Contribute opinion pieces, longer features, analysis, and participate in their podcasts and TV channel as required.
7. Represent the brand at industry events to provide coverage, build contacts, and enhance their reputation.
Profile of Candidate Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in digital content creation and social media.
3. You have strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
4. In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques and experience with Google Analytics.
5. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
6. A creative mindset with the ability to identify and develop engaging content.
7. You are a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. You possess a deep knowledge and experience of covering the telecoms and tech market.
9. You are willing and eligible to travel abroad and work outside of regular hours when required.
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
