Join us and be a key player in shaping the future growth of the group. About the Role: Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join the team, based in Wakefield. Reporting into the head of HR, you will support the development of HR Initiatives to improve staff retention, employee satisfaction, and engagement, as well as providing training and development opportunities ensuring this is available to enable employees to reach their full potential. Other responsibilities include: Prepare operational HR KPIs and department updates Process payroll using HRIS system for weekly and month paid staff Update HRIS System with employee information as well as training, SOPS, and absence, new starters and leavers Ensure all return-to-work interviews are completed by managers and updated on the system Arrange and support managers to conduct disciplinary and grievance meetings Assist with health and safety issues including overseeing the monitoring of staff accidents. Promote the employee value awards and ensure they take place on a timely basis. Key experience they are looking for includes: CIPD qualified Experience in a manufacturing / retail environment is advantageous Good IT skills with understanding of Microsoft packages and HRIS experience.
