The role Working with members of the Research Compliance Team responsible for delivering compliance with the NPSA’s Trusted Research Evaluation Framework (TREF), you would contribute to the strategic and operational development of the partner suitability assessment and due diligence (ATPS) aspects of this Project. You role would involve, but is not limited to: Input into creation, improvement and management processes, administration, and operational procedures related to this specific Project; Assisting the Team’s Research Compliance Operations Co-ordinator to map processes across to the wider Team where appropriate; Serve as the ‘front door’ to partner suitability and due diligence queries, ensuring the customers receive a high-quality, streamlined and consistent service; Engage with Marketing, Communications and Operations Teams where their input may be required to achieve the Project outcomes; Become fluent in the relevant risk assessment and recording tools that will be used to reflect the queries the Team receives in this space; and Develop reporting systems to process and present the usage data to internal and external stakeholders, and inform training and development practices. What will you be doing? You will play a key role in the operations and strategic development of the TREF Project and ATPS processes and contribute to its overall success. Some duties may involve: Learn about Export Control, National Security and Investment Act, Subsidy Control and other relevant legislation relating to national security in the context of their impact on your role; Create innovative working practices and be responsible for internal and external knowledge management; Maintain data and run metrics/prepare reports under the direction of the Head of Team and Project Manager; Engage with counterparts in other DREI and Faculty Teams to represent Research Compliance; and Be a key visible figure in customer relations and management of this Project.
