A reputable SEMH school in The Wirral is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy Receptionist to join their team. This full-time position, starting in January, requires a professional who can provide exceptional administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of the school office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the front desk and acting as the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors.
2. Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
3. Using SIMS software to maintain accurate student records, attendance data, and updates.
4. Monitoring and managing visitor access, ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures.
5. Assisting with the preparation and distribution of school communications, including newsletters and announcements.
6. Organizing appointments, meetings, and maintaining school calendars.
7. Supporting staff with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
8. Managing office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels, and placing orders when necessary.
9. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school policies at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. Proficiency in using SIMS software.
2. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
