Job summary This is an exciting time to join the Chestnut Tree House clinical team whilst we are undergoing service transformation and development. We are investing in a wide range or roles within the clinical team to support our outreach and engagement with children, young people and families. Main duties of the job This role supports the provision of palliative care to children, young people and families living with a life limited condition. Palliative care includes the provision of respite breaks, enabling children opportunities to have fun, make memories adding life to shortened years. You will provide high quality, holistic, family centred and compassionate care whilst meeting the complex clinical needs of the children in our care. The hospice delivers end of life care to a small number of children, working with specialist teams providing training and advice to manage childrens symptoms effectively. You will work as part of a large team comprising of clinical staff, activities coordinators and the child and family support team. Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
