Job Description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a PMO Manager for a 3 month contract on a rate of circa £500/day Inside IR35. This will be on a hybrid basis, with some attendance required on site in Edinburgh.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and ownership of design and implementation of PMO function across portfolio, including change programme
- Work with programme leads to set up enablers of PMO (capability and capacity assessment may be required)
- Work with Finance to set up project level budgets and financial reporting
- Work with Head of Governance to establish reporting rhythm and operationalise this
- Ensure function set up will be fit for purpose for delivery of Corporate Plan 2026 - 31
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience of PMO set up and programme set up
- Public sector experience and expertise
- Transformation programmes and capital delivery programmes
- Strategic planning, risk management, change control, PMO reporting
