Senior Process Engineer – Teesside Based Altrad are seeking expressions of interest from Senior Process Engineers to join our Major projects business in the North East on a temporary basis to contribute on meaningful projects that have a global impact and support Principal engineers on larger scale projects. You will be at the forefront of Process Engineering while working in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Your experience will have lead you to be skilled in delivering on Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and EPC scope of work. What will you be doing? Day to day you will be responsible for delivery of all Process Engineering project activities and deliverables within budget and schedule, producing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems. You will also: Develop engineering philosophies, equipment specifications and monitor project/contractor/vendor compliance Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline Attend client meetings and communicate issues with other engineers as required Why Altrad? Qualifications: BSc / BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 7 years experience. Chartered Engineer (desirable) Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Minimum of 7 years general engineering experience with at least 4 years in the Process & Energy business sector focusing on the design office Good organisational and time management skills Ability to problem-solve effectively Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering design programs Understanding of British and common international standards in the Process & Energy Sector Personal Attributes: Good verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and organisational skill Ability to effectively work in a team Attention to detail Personal integrity and trustworthiness. Pro-active attitude. A willingness to treat all people with respect, integrity, and consistency. High levels of initiative and “get up and go” to manage own workflow to meet objectives.
