We are looking for a Nurture Teacher to join a specialist education provision that provides a holistic and therapeutic learning experience for pupils with autism (ASD) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:
As a Nurture Teacher, you will focus on building confidence, emotional resilience, and essential learning skills for students with diverse needs. This role is about more than just academics—you will create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where students can flourish both socially and educationally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles
* Provide a nurturing and structured environment that supports emotional and social development
* Work closely with therapists, teaching assistants, and SEN specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Use innovative teaching strategies to engage students with varying needs and abilities
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging students to develop confidence and independence
The School:
This specialist free school provides full-time education, care, and therapeutic support for up to 150 pupils with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans). The school is equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including:
* Sensory rooms and therapy spaces
* Outdoor learning areas

* Small class sizes to ensure tailored support
The school promotes a holistic approach to education, helping students develop not just academically but also emotionally and socially.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant experience in nurturing and supporting SEN students
* Experience working with students with SEMH, autism, or other SEND
* A compassionate and adaptable teaching approach
* Strong teamwork, communication, and classroom management skills
* A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
