This is an exciting opportunity to support the coordination of care delivery within NUPAS Wolverhampton clinical services. The post holder will assist the Regional Clinical Lead in managing clinics to achieve group objectives and comply with the corporate strategy, supporting the principle of the right of people to limit the size of their family.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the management of the clinical team(s) daily to deliver safe and effective patient care.
2. Promote, support, and deliver safe and efficient abortion and related services according to legal and medical guidelines.
3. Assist in developing clinical practices to meet national and local strategies and guidance.
4. Provide expertise in family planning and sexual health care and lead Nurse Led services development.
5. Support system, process, and procedure development.
6. Work closely with the Clinical Lead/Manager to ensure patient-focused service delivery that meets regulatory standards and market growth.
7. Engage with complaints and incident processes as needed.
8. Adhere to infection prevention standards and role model best practices.
9. Support clinical leadership and management within the team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current Nurse and/or Midwifery Council registration (NMC)
* Contraceptive qualification or experience in fitting subdermal implants (willing to train if needed)
* Professional Nurse or Midwifery advocate
* Independent Non-Medical or Supplementary Prescribing qualification
Experience
* Ultrasound scanning experience or willingness to train within 3 months
* Cannulation experience or willingness to train
* Medication management expertise
* Experience managing clinical areas and delegation
