Start here. Grow here. We have an excellent job opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our expanding Multi-Disciplinary Design Team, in Glasgow. The team provides civil & structural design services to various clients primarily within the MoD environment throughout the UK and abroad. The successful candidate will join a team with extensive experience, from our Director to our most recently chartered Engineers. We provide structured training and excellent support, access to our international knowledge-sharing network, and procedures to support your continuing professional development and career progression within AECOM. What you’ll do? Has good working technical experience of producing design drawing packages and specifications where required. Significant knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD to aid production of design information. Desirable to have experience of Autodesk Revit. Works well as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team which includes Architects, M&E Engineers and Building Surveyors. Experience of Civil/Structural projects which include roads, drainage, general infrastructure with structures experience desirable. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined survey procedures i.e. carrying out dimensional surveys, experience of reviewing CCTV surveys and use of survey outputs to produce necessary design information. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Provides guidance to entry level engineers and technicians. Proficiency with TEDDS and Microdrainage or equivalent calculation suites is desirable.
