About the Role
As a Resource and Delegation Lead within Field Operations, you will work closely with the team to ensure service personnel are delegated to various sites both in the UK and around the world. You will be motivated, self-conscious, and respectful of people within your team.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
- Act as a Resource and Delegation Lead for Field Operations.
- Adhere to the delegation process including security and immigration.
- Provide visa support with collation of documentation and applications where necessary.
- Follow and be responsible for the GM security registering for "at risk" countries and chase approvals.
- Follow all Siemens Energy guidelines regarding delegation of personnel and travel policy.
- Meet deadlines and update Field Operations Managers if timeframes are in jeopardy.
- Take responsibility and ownership.
- Have a flexible working attitude and be able to adapt as project work changes quickly.
- Create business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Calculate allowances from given timesheets and liaise with payroll.
- Provide information to travelers regarding all necessary aspects, including security, immigration, and insurance.
- Liaise with the BCD travel center to ensure correct booking of flights and changes to achieve the required delegation timeframe.
- Ensure successful delivery of outages in line with customer, business, and project requirements.
- Lead and maintain the outage assessment of Agency personnel and provide feedback.
- Record and maintain personnel records for Agency personnel, including holidays, sick leave, etc.
- Authorize travel forms, expenses, and timesheets.
- Plan and lead Agency/Third Party worker induction days including competence management.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel internally and externally.
- Assist Field Service Operations Managers in the cross-utilization of resources.
- Manage the SQEP process for Agency employees.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding and maintain records for Agency personnel.
- Encourage and engage with Zero Harm and general HSE policies.
- Monitor, check, and release Agency invoices in a timely manner.

- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of project delegation work.
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good computer literacy skills are an advantage.
