Quality Manager
Metal Fabrication Business (Stainless Steel)
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead integration efforts across quality processes within our stainless steel fabrication business. You will be the focal point for all audits and ensure health and safety remains the top priority, so our team returns home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with production and design teams to instill a customer satisfaction mindset in all employees.
* Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
* Address quality concerns promptly and ensure effective, sustained corrective actions.
* Proactively manage customer complaints and questionnaires, ensuring timely resolution and reporting on their effectiveness.
* Liaise with the design team to resolve production issues and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
* Maintain and improve existing quality systems, introducing new procedures where necessary.
* Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with standards.
* Develop and implement work instructions, monitoring their effectiveness.
* Maintain the quality manual in line with ISO standards, communicating updates to key stakeholders.
* Ensure regulatory compliance by submitting annual returns.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in a quality role within engineering or manufacturing.
* Strong problem-solving skills with excellent oral, written, and computer capabilities.
* Qualified in quality management, with a solid understanding of ISO9001:2015.
* Ability to establish internal quality standards and meet customer expectations.
* Knowledge of WEEE, ROHS, and REACH regulations.
* Trained in conducting internal audits per ISO9001:2015 standards.
* Excellent document control skills.
